Years of South Asian Showdown!
Thank you for your interest is the South Asian Showdown (SAS)! We had 9 of the best Bollywood/Fusion teams from North America compete in Boston and they didn't disappoint! We also had an amazing audience of almost 1,000 people cheering on everybody. It was an amazing environment to be part of! Unfortunately, eventhough all the teams were fantastic, we could only award 3 places and provide some ancillary prizes:
1) Umass Dhadak
2) JHU Zinda
3) DFD
We also provided the following awards as well:
Best Dancer: Jasmine from DFD
Best Theme: Jasmine's Story by DFD
Best Mix: Nova Nassa
People's Champion: Queen City Ishaare
We take great pride in this show and we are happy that everybody enjoyed it!
